One of the really great things about the internet is that it lets you play at being the Fat Controller.
Tyler has just appointed himself Controller of Tyler TV, and to prove it there's a shiny new on-off button on the BOM sidebar.
PS Does anyone really believe that people are making zillions of real money in those virtual internet worlds? You know, all those people who are reportedly making stacks of dosh from trading imaginary cyber stuff for real dollars. According to the improbably named Mr Dibble: "There are people making six figures. One-man operations, basically, doing seven figures. It's not hard to make money doing this." Hmmm. My suspicion is that the only people who are really coining it are guys like the probably named Mr Jacob, of Electronic Arts, "who is currently working on Warhammer Online, and said: "There is going to be a lot of corpses, rubble all over the place. There is so much dumb money. Mass media is coming in and saying we want to be just like WoW." I must consult the junior Tylers, one of whom used to be a major customer of Warhammer when it still restricted itself to those small but pricey plastic and metal models. (Actually, come to think of it, although he was the consumer, some other poor schmuck picked up the tab. Maybe there's something in this... )
